Rafal Wodzinski has joined the team as Design Engineer on a permanent basis following a successful period working with us as a contractor, whilst Paul Terry has commenced his employment as Buyer.

Rafal has a wealth of 3D design / modelling proficiency, not only in all aspects of mechanical engineering, but also with specific experience that will further enhance our Kiln and Furnace capabilities. In addition Rafal will be instrumental to our Bespoke Engineering capacity which is a key service offered by Bricesco whereby engineering solutions can be designed through to in house manufacture and install, or, customer concept designs developed through to proven projects.

Paul will be working alongside our production team where he brings much valued workshop and site experience to not only streamline our procurement activities but enhance our manufacture planning processes, site delivery schedules and site project management. With established contacts across market sectors Paul also looks forward to assisting the company expand its customer working partnerships for further repeat business realised from quality on time performance.

The modern 2000 sq.m unit, conveniently located within 1 mile of M6 Junction 10, is the new location for Bricesco Offices and Manufacturing Facilities.

The spacious production area, with a roof height of 10 metres incorporating a 5 tonne overhead crane and 3 x 1 tonne swing beam hoists, provides for the fabrication of circa 150 tonne of carbon / stainless steel per month in addition to the assembly of industrial kilns and heat treatment furnaces.

Externally the facilities are complimented by a 1000 sq.m yard area.

Bricesco Engineering Division has secured a significant contract to supply one of the UK’s leading Water Industry contractors with a Bespoke Fabrication Project.

The In House capability to manufacture this sectionalised Stainless Steel Fabrication to industry quality standards and provide specialist engineers to undertake ‘Lifting Plans’ for the 4.2 tonne total structure to be lowered into a 15m void before completing the fabrication assembly in ‘Confined Space’ conditions, was considered both unique and highly beneficial by the customer for awarding the contract to Bricesco.

Fundamental to the customers decision process was the ability of Bricesco to deliver the project within minimal lead time.

Bricesco spokesperson commented that as the oldest kiln and furnace manufacturer in the UK this contract evidences Bricesco’s continuing ability to supply quality, knowhow and experience at cost effective value.
